It's especially annoying when they fret about the 'sins' of others: homosexuality, living together, etc. Why do they do that?

*Sob* Because, Jesus died for our sins. And, the more sin, the more retroactively painful it was for him. Or something...

*Sniff...*

If I could get over how grateful and sort of guilty I feel, I could explain it better...

How how great his sacrifice. I'm going to see Pink Floyd's "The Wall" with a chick tomorrow, so hopefully, his sacrifice will be even greater. *Sniff*

Simply becasue the Biblee states that we are to strive to become the Archetype, which is Jesus. We are told to serve God and become like Him out of our own choice, free will, and love.

Yes Jesus forgives ALL sins, NO MATTER how big or small (Assuming it is before physical death that foorgiveness is asked for), but if I "honestly ask for foregiveness and say "Im sorry Lord, foregive me, I screwed up" and then sin more because I know I can be forgiven, that doesnt show much love. That should bring the person to question: do they realy love the Lord and want to serve Him if they repetatively do what He says NOT to do?

"Who says that Christ will for give everything? That is totally an error in thinking. You should read 1 John 1 and see that sin is only forgiven when it is confessed and forsaken and not done willfully. If you ever mock Gd by saying "I can sin and get away with it" God will judge you very severly. Hebrews says "Those whom the Lord loves He discilines... and it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of a living God." "

You are corect in a sense, but if somebody mocks the Lord in life, that doesnt mean they cant be saved if they honestly and truely repent later on. The bible states that the "Unforegivable sin" is mocking/rejecting Jesus Christ. To truely reject Him, you would have to physically die with the mindset of "Chirst is fake and I dont belive in him."

One reason is that in the model prayer at Matthew 6:12 Jesus indicates the asking for forgiveness of sins is appropriate. Jesus’ sacrifice opened the way for forgiveness of sin that we inherited from Adam, that is the inherent sinful inclination that all imperfect humans have that causes us to sin, whether we want to or not.

To be approved by God, he expects us to repent from our sins, that is turn away from them and not be practicing Sin. This is made clear at 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

However, some sins will not be forgiven.

Jesus himself said at Matthew 12:31, “Every sort of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven.” (Matthew 12:31) So, then, sin against God’s holy spirit, or active force, will not be forgiven. The apostle Paul alluded to such sin when he wrote: “It is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, . . . but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance, because they impale the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame.”—Hebrews 6:4-6.

Only God knows if a person has committed the unforgivable sin. But, consider Paul’s words at Hebrews 10:26 where he stated, “If we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment.”

Someone who willfully practices Sin after he or she knows the truth is not forgiven. Therefore, Christians rightfully pray for forgiveness of sins and for help in turning away from wrong so that they do not develop a wicked heart and commit a sin that will not be forgiven. Further, true Christians also try to tactfully show others what the Bible really teaches about lifestyles and activities that are not approved of by God.

Why? Because we all have a common enemy – Satan. He seeks to cause us to practice sin willfully. (1 John 3:8) We can avoid being a victim of his schemes if we continually fight the inclination toward willful sin. If we do so, we will have God’s approval.

Normally they are occupied with the sins of others when they don't want to deal with their own sin; they are trying to make themselves feel better by picking on others.

Sins committed in blatant disregard to what is right, believing they will just be forgiven anyway is the sign of a fake christian; one who claims the name, but doesn't walk the walk.

Esther, JESUS only said that about flesh and spirit in HIS Disciples' weakest moment, before they recieved the HOLY SPIRIT.

Paul was describing his former problem, not what he experienced any more. He goes on to say in the next passage how he overcame that predicament by becoming surrendered to JESUS.

because they care about people and know what the bible says about sin.... doesnt matter which sin (some people get caught up in one particular sin to chastize... .for some reason)

Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross doesnt wipe out the sins of people who do not follow Him.... you have to accept that gift by giving up your sinful life and turning to Him.... so if people don't do that... their sins are not forgiven

We are not supposed to "accept" sin. Sorry, that would be hypocrytical. We are not perfect, but we don't (want to) go trumpeting into sin just for kicks. Our heads are on straighter than that, the good ones of us, anyways.

I don't go off the handle on people, but I'm not going to accept anything like homosexuality.. I may not say much unless asked, but it doesn't mean it's fine and dandy..

And just because we are forgiven in the end, doesn't mean it's okay to party it up and act a fool while we're here. We are here for a reason, and that's to set an example and try to bring other with us.

I don't think Christians really worried about sin. If that was true they wouldn't be fornicating for years. Come on, Sex is like a taboo in Christian religion. Even they made Jesus come out of a virgin. They were so spooked about the whole topic. It's a double standard.
They even blame Eve for seducing Adam.. come on..such a gender biased. How do people follow such fairy tale stories?
Poor Jesus. he came preaching to the world. he thought he would take people out of ignorance, but he only left Pagan Christians behind.
