It's none of your business. If she's ok with the way she feels now then leave her be. What are you going to tell her? "god loves you. But your son is in hell for killing himself."? Just let her be.

In that situation, you should leave God out of it........ you don't throw something like that back at a person who is blaming God to begin with. You should focus more on what caused your friend to do that... or draw her attention away from the situation completely (if possible) and on to something more peaceful. Most of the time though, the person simply will not listen to anything else and has already set their mind to it.

What a sad story.
I don't think that God's presence will help her if she does not want it. Pushing God towards her will push her away from you, so don't try it.
Just avoid the subject and be there for her emotionally in other ways - maybe go out more and travel, volunteer with the local habitat for humanity build.
I do not personally believe in God, but some basic humanitarian aid is what is needed here!

Of course you must stand up for God. Who would you rather love you, people or God? Can people save you????
It's tragic that people blame such things as this on God when the reality of the situation is that SHE likely had a great deal to do with it herself!
God sent HIS Son so that her and her son might be saved. I wonder how many times SHE told HER SON that while he lived?????

You should most definately say something. The question is what to say. There is no real explanation to what your friend did unless there is something that you don't know or arent telling us. But you shouldn't worry about your friend questioning her faith. It's the people that follow blindly that are the dumbest and most uninformed, questioning faith is an important part of knowing the truth. you can't know reality if you don't have questions about someones story.

Why do we blame GOD for our sins? Should GOD have intervened and put a stop to his actions? What was her son's relationship with GOD? Could GOD have changed his heart? YES! But, did he let GOD into his heart? GOD can work wonderful miracles in peoples lives if they let GOD takeover.
GOD bless

Your motives seem sweet. God will not fall off h\His throne because someone is angry at Him. Being angry at Him could be the first step in a deep relationship with Him in the future. Just let her know she is loved. She has suffered a huge blow!

Oh yeah that'll work...tell her that her only son is in Hell for killing himself, good way to bring her back 'to the good side' Leave her be, it's between her and her God...not you.

sometimes we are victims of other people's sins.... obviously he wasnt following God or choosing what God would have him choose.... but that is why we have free will... to learn and follow and trust God's plan for us.
God is waiting for her to come to him with the grief and questions.... He will comfort her and give her peace
