Do a search on Amazon for "the Haydock Bible". They are selling a photographic re-print of a Bible that was originally published in the 1800s. We're not exactly talking scrolls, but it has a pretty old-fashioned appearance that you might like. They also have some specimens of the original 1800s version that you can buy for probably a couple hundred.

You can buy a copy of the original 1611 King James Version with the fancy English stylish lettering and such. The only problems is the English of the 1600's is much different than what we use today and the copy you buy would be $3000-5000

Gil, try shopping around in antique shops. Also yard sales. You may be able to special order such a book from an antiques dealer or even a Christian bookstore.

You guys aren't paying attention. He means a Bible with a look to it that is in an ancient style.
I am sorry, I wish I could direct you to this at once. I myself would like to know if you find it.
If so, let me know at
trepp@telus.net
I am looking for such things for a store.

I don't know where you live, but Amazon.com has a selection of good Bible. 'The Spirit Filled Bible' is good, because they give you explanations at the bottom. Hope this helps a little. and - God Bless

The original NT was mostly written on codex and no one that I know of still reproduces these books on the original media.
