BEER (Super icy cold), some awsome tossed salad with home made dressing, corn on the cob (butter and salt), mashed potatos.
How could I ever forget the absolute most important things: A hugs stack of napkins!!!!

Baked beans,
corn on the cob,
corn bread (propper corn bread not the sweetened stuff yankees serve at BBQ places)
Black eyed peas
Potato salad
and of course if you are inclined nothing sets of a BBQ like a good cold beer.
For dessert I would suggest pecan pie or home made ice cream
