And for the past two weeks she has stopped eating pretty much every thing, including her favs. Her doctor told me to to give her yogurt, but she doesn't eat that either. I have gotten her to eat scrambled eggs w/cheese,but even now is starting to not want that. I've tried all different finger foods. She'll eat ritz crackers, gold fish, cherrio's, but nothing of substance. Please give me some tips!

It can be perfectly normal for her to quit eating some things. With being one she is busy exploring her world. She has other things on her mind besides eating. She is also much more active and that can make her slim down also. I would try to feed her several small snacks throughout the day. You can use pediasure, but I would only give it to her once a day. Kids go through stages, as my pediatrician told me kids will not starve themselves.

Have you tried dips and cream cheeses with the crunchy foods she is eating? You can put a tiny bit of milk in a bowl of cheerios - once she is comfortable with that you can systematically increase the milk in the bowl each time.

Will she drink milk, if so that will help with the weight issue. Also they have Pediasure which most kids love. My boys use to drink it all the time. Protein shakes and stuff like that will put on the weight but you will want to talk to her Dr about that stuff first.

Have you tried getting her to drink any of the nutrition drinks out there, such as Ensure? I think they have some that are specially made for children as well.
Perhaps if you blended some of those into 'shakes' she might drink them, even when unwilling to eat her normal foods.

Milk has the most fat and will put the weight on her. Try to increase her intake of that.
