not quite. GOOD olive oil is still green and is quite expensive. Normal olive oil is yellow and can come either in glass or plastic- does not make a difference!

Storing it in glass preserves it better, so even if the olive oil going into the bottles was the same at the time it went in, the ones in the plastic bottles will have degraded over time to a greater degree than those in glass containers.

I've never heard/read anything about a difference relating to the olive oil question, but I know in general that plastic has more of a tendency to affect taste and color. It is, after all, a petroleum product. Glass doesn't do that.

I find that its nicer from Glass. Plastic gives an odd taste to it sometimes, and Ive found that if you leave it close to predominant scents/flavors it can seep into the oil *Don't ask me how lol but it has happened* Glass has fewer impurities and it keeps for longer.

I would say plastic would be better. Because of the fact that if you drop a plastic bottle it would not shatter and break. If you tried the same with a glass bottle, it would likely shatter and a person would have a mess everywhere.

Of course!
Glass is impervious, which means that it imparts no off-flavors to what's stored inside it.
Plastic leaches molecules into whatever's inside, so your olive oil will pick up off-flavors and bad odors from the plastic container.

I prefer glass, I believe it's healthier, plastic leaches into the contents~

Definitely. I have read many reports that the chemicals in plastic which 'leech out' into our food contain feminising chemicals. Hence lower sperm counts in the men plus one other delicate issue which being a lady, I cannot talk about.
