es indeed. I have bags and bags. Been buying them at the farmers market chopping and freezing for when the fresh ones are gone. Don't try to freeze whole, they get soft and not too appealing to look at. Frozen they will stay good until next spring when you have fresh again.
I can get them fresh all year at Wal Mart but I like getting them from the farmers market better. Besides this summer I have been getting the Red Savina habenero. Three times hotter than the regular orange. Also have some green ones.

Using Your Peppers

Now that you've harvested all those wonderful peppers, what do you do with them? The possibilities are endless. You can chop them up and eat them raw in salads or salsas. You can cook them with tomatoes in sauces or pickle them in vinegar. In addition, peppers are delicious when they're roasted and the skins are peeled off. To preserve the peppers, some people freeze or can them. Smoking or drying works well too, and dried peppers can also be ground into chili powder. Let your pepper imagination run wild!
