I'm a Catholic, but i consider myself to be very liberal. I Believe sex before marriage is ok if its done out of love, not lust. And I have lots of gay/lesbian/bi friends, and i feel that they should be allowed to get married and be happy.
is that so wrong?

Your beliefs are wrong, because they are YOUR beliefs, and they fail to conform to the teachings of God's authentic church.

The sooner you realize that the church was authorized by Jesus Christ as the SOLE governing authority for every Christian, without limitation, and right up until the end of time, the sooner you'll be able to walk in step with the Lord.

You need to change your attitude, confess your sins, and get right with God and his church, before things get even further out of control for you.

Until then, consider yourself a heretic. It's probably quite inappropriate for you to receive holy communion in your present condition, as well.

It depends what you mean by free thinking.

If you mean thinking what ever you want without acknowledging the eternal moral law of God then free thinking may be a dangerous thing.

Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.

In other words, sin is anything that hurts your relationship with God.

+ Premarital Sex +

God is concerned with how we treat each other.

We have been instructed to love
+ Our neighbor as we love ourselves
+ One another as Jesus loved us

When we treat each other like sex objects, when sex is taking instead of giving, we damage the human dignity of both our partner and ourselves.

True giving of yourself to another in a sacramental marriage is what love is all about.

Marriage is a symbol of God's creation of the world in an act of divine love and self-outpouring.

Marriage is a symbol of the love, commitment, intensity, and passion of Christ for the Church for which He laid down His life.

Christians take sex very seriously because it is a glorious gift from God that lets us feel just a bit like God. We become lovers, givers, and creators.

+ Homosexuality +

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

Here is the text of the document, On the Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons (1986): http://www.newadvent.org/library/docs_df86ho.htm

+ Homosexual Marriage +

The Catholic Church believes that God himself is the author of marriage and has created it for one man and one woman.
