Personally I say yes. Where in the Bible does it say God makes an unlimited number of souls? In 6 days he created the world, and hasnt done a whole lot or creating since. All being were made in those 6 days. Where does it later say he makes more an more souls? Personally I believe that we do re-incarnate. And no, not always as someone famous. My opinion is that people who spout that mess, are looking for attention. Just do some "soul searching" ..pun intended!

I dont believe we do. However, even if we are re-incarnated, whats the point? You wont know about or remember a past life anyway.

For those citing the bible, if Christians do not believe in re-incarnation, how is Jesus suppose to get back? Also, how could John the Baptist be Elijah/Elias reborn?

Yes. Some Tibetan children can remember things that happened to them years ago before they were born. Some of us have the mind of the otherworldly. Some of us make a transfer.

I think so but not in the way described by Buddhist philosophy - human beings are always human beings. They may reincarnate as a lower (less evolved) human being but they do not come back as animals. You do however get the same issues to deal with until you "get it".

That story about reincarnation is nice, we like that, but do we really reincarnate?!I think, no!
Jingins Kan, Alexander the Great, Cesar, Napoleon Bonaparte, Hitler is one person? Maybe they have same demon in self, congruent whole world!

how else can you explain why some people are born in better conditions than others? becos we all have different karmas...

funny thing about reincarnation is that those who believe it were someone alway famous like: a king, a queen, princess, knight or a sage. Never an ordinary farmer or peons who lived an insignificant life who ended their life in a hand of barbarian hordes.
