adopted a cat, dog at home, like each other, but cat lifts her butt like shes horney (shes spayed)is this bad?

that is how cats great others,by smell and the cat is just greeting the dog. My cat everyday comes on the bed before we get up and purrs and sticks his butt up to say good morning. He does not spray and he has been fixed.

Cats lifting their butts is a good thing. Did you ever notice they do it when you pet them? She likes your dog, which is great!

She isn't horny- she is "spraying"- they do this to mark their territory. Most of the time if they are fixed then nothing actually comes out when they spray, but it's still possible.

no. shes just ot sure about your dog. so shes marking territory. or spraying . its like pee. so squirt her with a water gun (a light one) so she will stop doing it
