Hot Northern Australia

Some people said I did not go on a foreign speaking mission.

To this I say:

Some bloke pinched my pushy, so my digger-mate dinked me to my flat.

I served in the Great Utah Ogden mission. Yeah...until I got my call I didn't know it existed either. I had a blast and it was a very successful mission.

I want to serve outside of the States and learn a new language. Hopefully in Latin America or Asian. I can't wait. But if they reopen the Haiti mission, I really hope I can go there more than anywhere.

I didn't serve a mission, but when I'm older I would love to serve in Japan. The second coolest nation in the world.

I didn't go on one, since I got married before the age I could go, but my hubby served in the Peoria, Illinois mission. My inlaws just retired, and they want to go on a mission. I guess there is one in Hawaii now that is for people who have been teachers. They go and teach others how to be teachers. Sounds like that would be kinda a fun one, but since I'm not a teacher, I won't be going on that one.

My husband and I were married at 19 so obviously neither one of us went on a mission...but hope to go on a mission when we are older/retired. I would love to go somewhere foreign, Europe, Mediterranean, maybe even into Russia.
My senior neighbor's were just called to serve in Kazakhstan... a service mission, not proselyting. So it will be neat to hear about it when they get home - they leave in December.
I would just like to be in a different culture...I think that would be neat.

I didn't serve a mission when I was younger. My wife and I plan to serve one when we retire. I don't know where.

I haven't served one. However, I am saving so that I can go to my Bishop in a year or so (if I'm not married) and tell him that I want to serve. And when the call comes, I'll go where ever they send me.
