Its seems to be a problem with everyone. I get a blank screen after a few minutes into firefox.
I have disable the pipelining that did nothing
any ideas

You don't need to configure a browser to work with your Anti Virus Software. There may be a problem with either Kaspersky of Firefox( get the latest firefox)

We run Windows Vista, Firefox 2.0.0.6 and Kaspersky AV with no problems.
I would try uninstalling Firefox and then downloading and reinstalling the latest version.
The problem could be with extensions, not Firefox itself. Try uninstalling all your extensions and see what happens. (Tools -> Add-ons)
If it cures the problem, then add one extension at a time until you find the culprit.

Yes, use Ubuntu with Beryl, get rid of Windows, and the need for Kaspersky!
