Ok, so the most important ingredient to true love is 'individual growth'. If you love someone and they love you, you will encourage eachothers individule growth. This holds true throughout your life. You will support eachothers dreams and goals and allow room to change and grow. Whether the person you love is a friend, parent or lover, inevitably you have to let that person go and do things that are important to him or to her. True love, "conscious love" supports your loved one's individual growth and personal empowerment. For most couples, true love encompasses more than just an infactuation or attraction to someone. It includes some of these qualities:
personal freedom for both people
good communication on all levels- verbal, emothional,ect..
responsible behavior towards yourself and the other person
caring
bliss (at times)
the ability to say, no and to say, yes
allowing the other person to be negative as well as positive
the relationship is nonpossessive
the relationship is based upon truth, not fantasy
both peoples needs are respected
and...
affinity and friendship.

True love is more than wanting that person to be "the one".

I hope this helps!!

Love is him buying me a new oven since my passion is baking and my old oven wasn't working. Love is when he opens all the doors for me. Love is when we made up our own special hand shake. Love is making plans for our future. Love is my mom telling me to give him a key to our house. Love is when he knows what kind of soda I want to drink at fast food place without me having to tell him (and its not the same drink all the time). Love is when he rubs my back almost every night because he knows I love it. Love is when his whole wardrobe is basically all at my house. Love is when he does his laundry at my house and includes mine. Love is when he serenades to me when I'm having a bad day. Love is when we renewed our annual passes to disneyland so we could hang out there and be kids again whenever we want. Love is me buying him a game console because it's what he likes to do sometimes, even though I hate it when he plays video games. Love is him remembering to put the seat down for me. Love is when we tell each other I love you everytime we part ways (when we leave for work, and even when we go to bed togetheer). Love is when we get into an arguement and are love feels stronger after we have made up and solved the issued. Our love is unique!

I am learning a lot of lessons surrounding the answer to this question.

Love is accepting someone for who they are.
Love is letting them go if you cannot accept them for who they are.
Love is being happy for someone else, regardless of your needs.
Love is meeting the needs of someone else.
Love is about the other person.
Love is hard.
Love is necessary.
Love is wonderful.

Feeling love from someone else is them loving us. Giving love back is us loving them. Giving love to get love can't last. Love has to be given freely with no expectation of return. It simply comes back to you.

That is a very complexed question, because there are different levels of LOVE....

LOVE <-- would be like "I love chocolate cake, or I love that movie" something that makes you feel all googly inside...

CONDITIONAL LOVE - you love with condition.. Like "I love you, BUT ____"

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE - is when you love somebody NO matter what. like your child, your family, husband. You love them for who they are, what they mean to you, etc

that is what love is to me

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
