Right now we live in Torrance,ca and my dad is getting relocated to a new office so we have a choice of moving to Ohio, Vermont,England...My parents have finally come to an agreement and we are moving to the England. Now this is the town we are moving to....Addiscombe, Croydon, England is that a bad area or ok or really good? thanks

I know this is in the wrong section, but I need answers now and i knew this was a popular section..k thanks

Have a look at a web site called 'upmystreet.com' It will give you loads of info. What I find about living in England is that most towns have sub sections that cater for most people. It's the villages that you have to be a little wary of, lots of character but can have a small town - ness about them. Best wishes for the move

Addiscombe Is on the south side of Croydon( the best side and the quieter side) 1/2 hour by train to center of london,1/2 hour by train to the coast, Croydon is a good 4 shopping.and night life but a bit of a "rough" area at nite

i lived in London for awhile and i heard of croydon and it doesn't sound bad. i love england. my dad had to move to london for work and i thought i would hate it but i ended up loving it.
