there is this guy that goes to my church, we are good friends and have known each other forever. well in the beginning of the summer before sunday school ended he said he was going to my high school. on monday he kinda like poped out of no where and we started talking. he has grown up quite a bit and isint the same little kid i knew last year. he has grown atleast 4 inches, his voice changed, and i kinda like him. how can i tell if he likes me. i mean i can sometimes catch him staring at me from in class room...but what are some other signs??????

-does he try to make small talk, while not giving too much info?
-does he try and make you laugh a lot?
-does he kid you about other guys?
answer yes to any and chances are yes, bubt dont rush anything. let it happen naturally

Guys are really easy to read, you just have to know how.
Does he always want to be around, talking to you. Kind of shy, when you come around? Those are some of the ways you can tell is a guy likes you.
But forget all of that! In this day in age woman can approach me, you don't ALWAYS have to wait for him to make the first move. And technically, by talking to him, or asking him to hang out, isn't "making a first move" anyway.
So, what I suggest it. You ask him to hang out, go over some home work together, meet up after school. Just like you, he may always be shy, think about it, you two have known each other for some time, so he may feel awkward about it. But let it gradually happen. Don't go to him and say "do you like me because I like you" But just hang out some, let him the both of you feel more comfortable together outside of church.

Love has this funny little habit of popping out of no-where!! The best thing you can do is play this one a little cautiously. Ask him out for lunch/dinner (he won't automatically assume you are asking him on a date because you are already friends), and see how much of an effort hes made. Ask him to choose the location to see where you go. Because if he turns up in a pair of scruffy jeans to take you to McDonalds then you may not be in there!! Just have fun with this guy, if its meant to be, then it will happen naturally! Good luck

Well liking people is a very complicated thing. Some signs are:if he acts different around u when he acts totly different to other friends,like u said if he cheks u out, if you can tell he is nervous when he talks to you.But usualy if someone like you you would tell right away but some people like my girlfriend give no signs what-so-ever. And if you are ready to ask him out you should go to him(guys like it when girls do it) and try to sound confident, and nice at the same time. Well from what i read it looks like he digs u. So i would say go and ask him out.(IN PERSON, NO TXT!!!)

You have to give him signs that you are interested in order for him to make a move. He sounds like he likes you, but won't risk making a fool out of himself until he is sure that you like him. So start flirting with him, touching his arm or hand in casual conversation. Start to make suggestions about certain things that you like, say a particular movie or restaurant that you would like to try. This should be enough to egg him to ask you to go to those places. If that doesn't work, then you will have to ask him to go out. I wouldn't suggest doing this in a romantic way at first, but act like it is as friends and let him make the move...for some reason men need to be pushed in the right direction. good luck

It's hard to tell. But you caught him staring at you so that's a good sign that he likes you. If he likes to stick around with you that's another sign.
Try this, when he is staring at you, wink at him and see how he reacts.

look for the way he talks to you, or just the way he treats u areound and not around other people. im sure he does and u have nothing to worry about it, but also remember it takes guys longer to truly like someone. so give him some time. youl have the whole year with him =]
