She shouldn't hide it and nor should you. Tell her mother immediately

Aren't you an untrustworthy cousin. . .
She won't want help until she sees that what she's doing is not going to solver her problems.
And if she doens't want anyone to find out, I think you should respect her decision.
She obviously hasn't cut deep enough to kill herself, it's probably just self inflicted pain because it's the only way to get rid of emotional pain.
It's a hard habit to break. That's all I have to say. Someone has to give her an ultimatum. And as far as hiding goes. Easy. She just keeps her cuts in an unseen place and avoids wearing clothes that display them.

That is simple. People who cut themselves are very "sneaky" when it comes to hiding the cutting... Look at how your cousin is dressing, depending on where your cousin is cutting will depend on how hard it is to cover the marks. For instance some cutters will cut their arms, thus resulting in wearing long sleeves year round even when it is hot outside. There are those who who cut there pubic area. This harder to notice because people wear clothing, underwear and pants even shorts. However if you look on the panties there would be blood from where she is cutting.

I hope your cousin seeks help... She is in pain and cutting is how she releases the pain. You could help your cousin by taking her to a treatment facility...

I kept my cutting a secret for 17 years and found out it was the very worst thing I could do. Cutting is nothing more than a very bed way to deal with stress, pressure, anxiety, and depression. Your cousin needs help from a therapist. The sooner the better. Encourage her to tell her parents and ask them to take her to get help.

hmmm.... cutting is realli not a good thing @ all. u should try and help her break this bad habit. but 2 answer ur question, she can get a sports wristband and cover them up (if they're wrist cuts, that is).... but if not, she can wear long sleeves or long pants to cover-up the cuts. but she really must stop the cutting because it truly doesn't solve the problem in the long-run. TRUST ME

You need to tell a trusted person so she can get help. This can lead to even more self destructive behavior, and hiding it will not solve the issue. The most loving thig you can do for your cousin is to get her help

Most cutters wear long sleeves or pants to try to hide it. If she is cutting herself, you need to let your parents know so they can get her some help. This is not healthy. Cutting is usually a sign of severe emotional pain.

Your question should be how do I get my cousin help -
She is self mutilating and that is a very serious sign of mental illness. Talk to your parents, her parents, teachers, pastors, any one that will listen and get her the help she needs.

she probably hides them by wearing long sleeves...that's what I used to do...well actually I hardly ever hid them...I let the world see how much I hated me. until the school counsler called my dad...then I hid them....but I didn't stop...until my boyfriend begged me to stop..I did it for his sake...but now he's my ex...and I wanna cut again.

She doesn't hide them...she or you tells someone. She needs help that you can't provide.
