Your question made my brain sing !!!
So thank you. That was a great song.

If I remember right the answer is--I need directions because " Ive been away so long, I may go wrong and lose my way"

Is "to know the way to San Jose" a tribal, pre-Columbian? Like "dunces with weaves"? And where did you knee him?
Unless, of course, he/she/it is "dough", in which case you might "knead" him/her/it. Or do you just "need" to get a life?
(Only if it's a cereal; the magazine is "livin' in defunct.")
Or is "the way" the Tao? In which case "San Jose" can be seen as a metaphor for anywhere & nowhere--which are, in fact, the same place. Or are you referring to the aspirin--St. Joseph's (de San Jose')--for children? Which might be
"kneeded" at this point?
If, on the other hand, you were "born and raised in San Jose"
you might want to return "to find some peace of mind."
(Wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-woe)
Especially if your "psychic friends" were no longer calling...
