Yea, Avian Flu, SARS, Y2K, Killer Bees, Gypsy Moths, Mediterranean Fruit Fly, Landfills filling up and running out, Overpopulation, DDT, Gas shortages, Spotted Owl, Earth collisions with near earth orbits, Global Cooling, Blah, Blah, Blah.

I know I'm missing a couple hundred more.....

I can't wait till global warming is yesterday's news. Unfortunately that means something else will be the crisis du jour.

I think it's being played low key to keep any panic down. I
was reading online last week about some cases in eastern
Oregon. Which I'd never heard before. So it is spreading.
Maybe you could google the report for your state to see if it
has hit there yet. I didn't even think it was in the states, til I
read it thru my ISP news page.

funny, the bird flu (H5N1) is still alive and well, and will likely mutate at some point in your lifetime, becoming transmissible between humans (like other bird flus), perhaps you will die of it, bwahahahaha.
