That means the meat was fresh, and won't hurt anything. Just cook them 10 to 15 mins longer than the recipe calls for, to be sure they are absolutely done.

You want to cook chicken until the juices run clear, you don't want to see blood. You also wouldn't want to see pink or red when you pull the meat off the bone. Sounds like you cooked for too short at time or too low of a time. If the oven is off now I would put the chicken in the microwave and cook it some more, maybe five minutes or there abouts on high.

I have had that happen to me before also. I have never had any bad results from eating the chicken. I always cook mine at 350 degrees and I let it bake for one hour. That way I know that the chicken is completely cooked. I find that it happens more often if the chicken isn't completely thawed out before I bake it.

No please do not eat that chicken, it is not done, you must cook chicken until the juices run clear. Place it back in the oven and cook until done.Go to the food network and get a printed guide for cooking chicken, if you have any trouble you may email me.......

When you cook bone in chicken, it almost always has blood bubble up. As long as the juices are clear when you cut it, it's safe to eat.

All meats try this on occasion. using fact the interior heats, any liquid interior starts off to boil/steam and build stress. It then starts off to seep out. this is incredibly regularly occurring, distinctly with bone in meats like drumsticks or beef chops.

yep, it means the inside near the bone is cooking, it takes longer for dark meat(legs, thighs) to cook, just cook it about 10-15 minute longer!
Bon apetit!
P.S Hope you didn't forget to wash that bird, other than that it will be O.K to eat.
