The stone carving and statue of Moses from the tomb of Julius ll. also look similar to the following statues:

1 - Statue of Moses, by Michael Angelo - St. Peter's church in Vincula, and the church of S. Maria Sopra Minerva.
Donatello, signed and dated 1438
(cleaning and restoration, 1973,
Professor and Mrs. John McAndrew)
The right foot that is covered with bronze is kissed often.

2 - Statue of St. John the Baptist – Roman Catholic Church
Donatello, signed and dated 1438
(cleaning and restoration, 1973,
Professor and Mrs. John McAndrew)
Wooden sculpture of St. John the Baptist, by Florentine master Donatello. Photos: Mark Smith

Religious scholars should have this issue investigated.
