No, it's a verb.
An adverb is a word which describes an action (a verb).
Adverbs usually end in -ly. Examples are 'slowly' and 'quietly'.
And botany is the study of plants. So post your questions elsewhere.

no it isnt the word is isnt. an adverb is a word you use to discribe things. If im right the word is could be a conjunction.

its a verb. he is fast.

he= subject
is=verb
fast=adjective

its conjugated from the verb "to be".
