The fonts (all of them) on my Microsoft word have more of a "pixel" look to them compared to a "pen" look. (Like in photoshop, the pixel tools and the pen drawing tools) what I mean is they don't appear soft and I was wondering if I could fix that. (The computers at my school have the "pen" look to them, and my home one doesnt!")

Using ClearType for screen fonts may be the solution

1. Open Display in Control Panel.
2. On the Appearance tab, click Effects.
3. In the Effects dialog box, select the Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts check box.
4. Click ClearType in the list.

If you do not have this option, Microsoft has a clear type font smoothing tool available on their website that will also do this. You will have to search for it on their site since I can't recall where it is.
