I am 14 years old and I have this knee pain. And its really starting to hurt bad. I don't like complaining to my mom cause shes an NP so can you tell me what you think?

Does anyone know what it is?

Here are some symptoms.
Knee hurts :P
Feels like i'm getting little pinches on my muscles.
Hurts to bend
Hurts more to walk down stairs
When locked and foot is pointing outward, pain goes away.

Also, i havent played a sport since Winter break, but the sport i played, was swimming.

Sweetie, the truth is that no one, not even a doctor, can tell you what the problem is without knowing your medical history, asking some very pointed questions, doing an examination and possibly even some testing.

The fact that you have pain and it is getting worse is your body's way of telling you that you need medical help. You need to tell your mom that your knee has really been bothering you and ask her to make a doctor's appointment for you (or show her your question and this answer). Please get this looked into! You don't want to run the risk of doing permanent damage by ignoring the pain.
