Some may be useful, but they leave it at the door when they walk out!

Nothing wrong with Christian bashing as most who claim they are Christian would not give a nickel to help anyone! I don't think that is what Jesus says.

Believing in a God is one thing, but believing in a business is something else! Your pedophile priests are a perfect example.

Like some Christians believe, the only moral abortion is their own!

Many believe in getting kids killed for nothing in Iraq! Many believe in the death penalty saying "an eye for an eye"! Jesus never said that, What he did say most people in this country can't come close in accomlishing!

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' "But I say unto you that ye resist not evil; but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away." Sermon on the Mount

The one on TV was an isolated place, I doubt it is even a camp now.

But take a quick video that makes us look bad and then paint us all with the same brush seems to be in order.

When I was a kid, I went to Church Camp, we learned about helping others, we played football, swam, ate, made new friends, and had a lot of fun......

What some would call brainwashing I guess.

Peace be with you!

More Christian bashing, huh? How charming . . .

For "Darth Cheney" (great demeaning user name), there's no such thing as "Jesus Camp," so to infer there is, is nothing but Christian bashing.

There is, however, Church camp and I attended several times as a kid. No brain washing, just lots of fun, sports, games, meeting new friends, cookouts, etc. Surprise! Children and youth come back refreshed and happy from their experience and nobody crams anything down their throats!

Not really. They pretty much try to scare the bejeezus out of you and make 8 year olds promise not to have sex outside of marriage.

Some of the answerers here think you're bashing (Oregon Flower being one). Why do they think Rove is bashing? It seems like a valid question to me.

Beats me... I have never sent any of my kids to one, nor do I expect any of my children to send my grandchildren. Thank God!
