It's the kiwi way.
Drive your car as close to the surf as possible, then sunbaking on the beach while eating a trumpet (icecream) or sipping on L&P.

I don't understand the question really? Do other people not take their cars to the beach??? As someone has pointed out you can learn the hard way if there is soft sand there!

Maybe we do it coz there are no real carparks and its the best place to park!!!
