Seems a bit weird to me even if 28,678 people have asked 'Does God exist?'

A while back, some of the regulars figured that the line of trite and overly-asked questions on here were frequent enough to make a drinking game out of it.

So, just like one of those drinking games where you watch a movie and drink every time something happens (e.g., the Star Wars drinking game: drink every time Luke whines, somebody says a number, or somebody says "I have a bad feeling about this"), we drink when we see questions like variation on Pascal's Wager, the watchmaker argument, "...then why are there still monkeys?", "Why are athiest [sic] here", etc.

In fact, asking about the drinking game has become one of those questions too, so ...*drink*!

It's like a drinking game for a TV show or movie, where you take a drink every time some predictable bit of business happens. They pretend to take a drink every time someone asks one of the standard, unworkable theological questions such as Pascal's Wager.

At least, I hope they're pretending. Those questions pop up a heck of a lot around here.

it's something that people do when a question is asked way to much and an answer could be reached if one were to just look at past questions

It's part of the R&S drinking game. If someone asks a certain commonly asked question (for instance, the one that ends in "...then why are there still monkeys?"), we take a drink. Which reminds me, I need another shot of Jagermeister.
