Ulnar Nerve palsy or Neck disc issues. Carpal Tunnel is the other side of the hand (Thumb Index and half middle finger). You may have just slept on your arm wrong or an exacerbation of a cervical nerve problem. Either way, see a doctor, and if allowed, take NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, etc...) and rest it.

See your doctor. The numbness you describe or feeling that the ring finger and little finger are going to sleep are in the ulnar nerve distribution. You could have some compression on the nerve. This can be examined by your doctor and perhaps even evaluated with an EMG (electromyogram), a special test that tests the nerves. This is similar to "carpal tunnel syndrome" which affects a different nerve in the wrist called the median nerve. Treatment can range from anti-inflammatory medicine to injection to surgery to decompress the nerve. Again, consultation with your doctor is warranted. The fact that the tingling sensation is not in the other fingers suggests that this is not a vascular problem. Good luck

This is crazy, the same thing has been happening to me. It goes numb on and off through the day and been happening the past few weeks. I don't think I have carpal tunnel, but reading these answers above, I'd have to agree in might be a pinched nerve in the neck or elbow. Good luck

Mine on both hands are like that I went and had a nerve conduction test done and the neuroligist said that when it is your pinky and ring finger it has to do with the ulna nerve which is in the elbow.there is a pinched nerve in the elbow.you can try taking ibprophen to reduce swelling and if that dont work then surgery is required to fix it.

I have had this problem and it was caused by problems in the cervical spine which was pinching the ulnar nerve. Once that was corrected by surgery I had no more problems.
