What is not to love about Jesus teachings? He is the epitomy of love.

Matthew 5:30-44 says, "Ye have heard that it hath been said, 'thou shalt love they neighbor, and hate thine enemy'. But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you."

Absolutely Kaliko! I agree with you. Jesus says we are to Love one another. Our only fight is against Satan who seeks to divide and conquer. Satan is the one who drives people away from God through deception. We have a responsibility tp even Love those who are opposed to Christ. We may win a few by our Love.

God loves you.

Right. It doesn't mean that people can't occasionally have lively discussions about religion, politics or anything else (even Jesus had discussions with the elders in the synagogue), but at the end of the day, we're to respect and love one another, regardless of our differing opinions.

Yes, He is the Lord and Master of Love. King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Sovereign ruler of this Universe. The Only Begotten son of God incarnate. The I AM - The Alpha and Omega.
He said Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as you would yourself.
Some people don't Love themselves and that makes it difficult to Love others.

I even have examine your question and submit and as man or woman who has participated right here for some time, i propose against asking a question as a manner to make a fact in basic terms. As a Christian, that's demanding to me to ascertain questions probably requested to reason branch. those ensue regularly sufficient devoid of prompting. remember additionally, Christianity isn't meant to be a faith, this is the reality of Jesus Christ to the honor of God the daddy.

Jesus said "No man comes unto the Father but by Me."

To love one's enemy is to pray for their salvation and assist them in learning this truth.

To hate your enemy is to tell them to go ahead and keep doing what they're doing... and KNOWINGLY allow them to go to hell.

Too often, pastors interpret "Love thy neighbor" and "Love thine enemy" wrongly and tell people that it's OK to stay in their sin. Just as with doctors, alot of people "church shop" until they find one that, rather than telling them the truth, tell them what they want to hear (seems to be human nature to do that).

Personally, I don't see a problem with telling bashers and trolls that they're bashers and trolls. I'm sure Matthew would have made an exception in that scripture if the YA bashers and trolls had been around then.

We DO love EVERYONE, but witnessing to the Truth of that love in Christ is not equal to "fighting and hating based on difference of opinions and religion." Christ even told us that people will curse US for HIS sake. He said that He did not come into this world to bring PEACE but a SWORD... Matthew 10:34 "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."

"I did not come with a view to give them peace; peace in heaven they may be sure of, but not peace on earth." Christ came to give us peace with God, peace in our consciences, peace with our brethren, but in the world we have trouble. If all the world would receive Christ, there would then follow a universal peace, but while there are and will be so many that reject Him, we must expect to feel the fruits of their enmity.

We are COMMANDED to tell ALL the peoples of the world about Christ, it is referred to as the "Great Commission." If we do not speak this Truth, we are not true to our faith and to our Lord. If this Truth DIFFERS with that of others, well... that cannot be helped... the Truth is the Truth, and no one but God can change THAT Truth.

For you to tell us not to witness to our faith, to witness to the Truth, just because some reject it, or that you view it as "fighting and hating" (which it is not), you are denying our ability to fulfill our faith... which includes loving everyone AND telling the WORLD about our Lord. Please do not hold us back, especially when it is Christ who told us to go out into all the world and teach them "in My Name."

Have a blessed day!

God does call upon us to love everyone, even those who are particularly unlovable. The fact that we as Christians do not always do this is evidence of our fallen nature that we struggle with.

Also, it says

Matthew 22:38-40

38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[a] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
