Do you think God's going to wisk you away before the earth becomes inhabitable, so why bother with saving energy, recycling, helping endangered species, whatever? The reason I ask is because I've noticed a lot of the most rabid global warming deniers happen to call themselves Christians.
On the other hand, a lot of Christians think we are supposed to be "stewards of the land" and the earth is God's gift (like the Amish) to us.
Also, do think we should nuke all them Ay-rabs "back to the Stone Age" because the war's really about Xtians versus the darkie heathens?

i think it is sad when people thrash the planet and base
it on the bible. ADONAI said to be stewards Not thrashers.
we are suppose to plant and take of HIS garden and make
more gardens and blend in. those who don't are not reading
MY bible. those whom are rabid are not christian. no
where does it say that; not in the old testament or the new.Nuking is assinine to all of us nor is it christian. Quit
aligning most christians with most jerks.
ADONAI made this planet a garden and what man has
done to it is not biblical.

No one intelligent denies that global warming is happening. It is.
What a lot of people don't realize, however, is WHY it is happening. Global warming is not caused by man, but by natural geological processes which will reverse in another few centuries. There is nothing we can do to stop it. Now, can industrial waste exacerbate the effects of global warming? Yes, certainly. But not enough to override nature. The globe is warming now, but it WILL cool again. We are meant to be stewards of the land; the earth is God's gift to us. We should do what we can to protect it, but we don't need to make the environment more important than us.
I disagree with saying the war is about Christians versus "heathens;" Muslims are not heathens, they are simply not Christian. The war has little to do with religion. I know many people will disagree with that statement, but that is my opinion. The war began to get a tyrant out of power; now it is to help Iraqis get back on their feet and prevent the development of another Saddam.

Boy, you packed a lot into one question, didn't you?
Yes, I think way too many people are expecting the end times and don't worry about the environment or much of anything else. I consider that foolish in the extreme, myself. And your point about the Amish, and the importance of being good stewards, is well taken.
No, I don't think we need to nuke anybody. But we do need to be alert to the problems which are causing so much terrorism, and be prepared to act quickly to protect people. Have you seen the movie "Obsession" yet? Very, very scary.

According to the Bible there will be 2 Raptures. One will involve 144,000 anointed saints from the 12 tribes of Israel.
The other Rapture will involve the body of believers known as the "The Church", this involves a number that no man can count.
