now that school started there seems to be a tendency going on , every single class room is overcrowded due to the many immigrants which had to leave their country , yet even with this going on the Jordan government has started making preparations because they think it is their duty to educate those kids just because of the fact than they are Muslims .

i must say that i find this kind of intriguing because of the constant media which in my opinion tries to make us think than there is not good people amongst the Muslims so i was thinking and wondered which would the opinion of the people in this forum would be :

are the Muslims better people than we think ???

are they actually better than us ???

( i do not think so but the constant complains make me wonder and i applaud the good Aptitude of the jordanian government )

what da ya think ;) ???

I do know some Muslims and they are nice caring people.Too often we see all Muslims as radical Muslims thanks to news coverage of the radicals.I wonder if other countries view us according to the KKK and Germany according to Hitler? The Jordanian government is actually quite progressive given the location.I really enjoyed seeing the Queens views on a program last winter. She is a very articulate and caring lady.

OK.....when you have a house we have housing codes which state how many square feet allow per person. We have single family units, so on.

Lets take my small house as an example. It is built to deal with 6 people. 2 people per bedroom based on the footage. I could live here alone but I'm paying taxes, as if there are 6 here when, it comes to the portion for school. They don't care if it's a single person or old people or sterile people.....they base the tax on what the potential of who might live here. We have 35 people living in a 6 unit taxed building. Which means we could have 33 kids and 2 adults or any mix in-between. They are NOT paying for what they use. Taxes cover what.....5 kids at the most but we could essentially have as many as 20 kids for the same price? That is where the overcrowding comes in. Single family dwelling means JUST adult and offspring. Not multi-family in a single family dwelling.

Now I'm not in Jordan nor do I know what to make of your question....exactly....except there's only so many funds to go around and when you have too many people at one time expecting to collect....there's a problem. Especially when they come from a foreign country at the citizens expense.

Kind of like musical chairs where it should be 1 on 1......not 1 million to 1.

The Mexican kids have harm the education system due to their inability to learn English therefore classes must slow down and spend more time teaching English to kids who are here illegally.

My son's school isn't overcrowded. In fact, I haven't seen any news stories about *any* school district in this part of the country being overcrowded.

oh...Jordan. I don't care if their schools are overcrowded--not my problem.

I do not get your point, immigrates in both Jordan and in the USA both educate their immigrate children. We in the USA educate children whether they be legal or not
