Tell you what- I'll give you a straight answer (even though your question is BEGGING ME for sarcasm)- you've provided me with the opportunity for a LOT of jokes, and I never seem to get reported from your questions- I appreciate that so here you go:
1. If a person is born with a predisposition toward pedophilia, that means that it is something they can not control. They can repress it, but that's not the point. If they can't control it, how can they repress it forever?
2. If a person is born with a predisposition toward pedophilia, this means they can also be born with a predisposition toward many other things- murder, uncontrollable desire for control over other people, rape, kleptomania, overeating, emotional disorders... etc... (sins by your definition)
3. If a person can be born with a predisposition toward ALL OF THAT- then there is no logical explanation as to why a person could NOT be born with a predisposition toward homosexuality.
4. BECAUSE YOUR BIBLE CONDEMNS THIS
you are either stating that A: god made a mistake, or B: god set an innocent unborn child up for failure.
Do you see where this is headed? Kind of either A- god's NOT perfect or B- god is malevolent.
Scrapping the bible in this case would probably be a good idea.

Did you even read what you wrote?
"New Scientist just came out with a article on the study of Pedophilia they feel these people might be born with less grey matter in the brain that can cause pedophile behaviour, they also feel people have generic predispositions to addiction and a host of other behaviours and diseases."
LESS "gray matter in the brain that can cause pedophile behavior"? Less? I'm pretty sure you mean MORE. As in it happens because they have MORE "gray matter in the brainthat can cause pedophilia." Not less. Also not sure where else you would have gray matter, but hey, I'll let that one slide.
This one I won't. A generic predisposition, huh? So is it like cheaper than the name brand predispositions?

There are some predispositions we are all born with. But, we all have control over our actions and our attitudes. I may be "born" with the aptitude for a quick temper, but that does not mean I should "fly off the handle" every time something bothers me.
The Bible should not embrace anything I do. I should embrace the written Word of God. We cannot be deceived by those who want to water down the scriptures with alleged genetic predisposition's arguments, cultural pressure, societal pressure or any poorly interpreted explanation of scripture. These are some ideas that are "deceiving even the very elect", as Jesus warned us about.
Anyone may be born with a "predisposition", but we are all born with a free will and the ability to choose how we behave in this life. More than half of the "born predisposition" arguments are just excuses so someone isn't held responsible for their own actions.

People who are born with certain conditions, this is all because of sin- when it entered the world, the Lord said all of this would happen- we are ALL sinful. And diseases and all kinds of things would take place since sin entered the world.
This is more of a reason why people need to hear the truth of God's word. NOT THROW IT OUT- it is the most important thing you will ever hear- the gospel of Jesus Christ!

OF COURSE IT MATTERS.
The Bible has never been and will never be a credible authority in the field of psychology. NEVER. People should look to the qualified experts when they need therapy and guidance for their "mental" issues. They shouldn't turn to ancient mythology.
Pedophilia is incurable, we already knew that. Pedophiles don't change, they simply repress their desires and will themselves not to molest and rape children when the desires resurface. I'm not sure what that has to do with the Bible...

how about individuals actually being held responsible for their own actions...PERIOD? if they were born defecient, they should be treated like a faulty part on an assembly line and thrown back into the smelter. Atheists and others that don't believe seek to EXCUSE these people at all. christians on the other hand tell them they can still go to heaven if they accept jesus (michael vick).

No, the actual reason that we should toss the Bible is because it was written by men with a worldly agenda.

No, trashing the bible would be carless. Recycle it instead.
I do love how you tried to say people are born that way and that some book should change them. That made me giggle.
