I find your 'question' absurd - you are presumably intelligent enough to know that Hitler was an evil b******d, so why bother posting this?
Perhaps you'd like to give a link to this remark by Bobby Fischer - where and when did he say this?
Finally: as others have pointed out, the guy is a fruitcake, so even IF he did indeed make this remark, so what?
I am Jewish and I have personally met Holocaust survivors. Everyone here - you included - knows full well that Hitler was a vicious, racist meglomaniac.
Next time perhaps you could think twice before posting something so stupid and offensive. This post is insulting not only to Jews but to anyone decent; remember that the Nazis also killed millions of others including gypsies, handicapped people and more.

I cant imagine anyone in their right mind thinking that Adolph Hitler was a good person. If Bobby Fischer did say that-he must have had a lapse of memory-or a psychotic break.

The thing about Fischer is that he's clinically insane by nearly anyone's standards. Just because a man who's out of touch with consensus reality proclaims that Hitler was a swell guy doesn't necessarily mean it's so.

Bobby Fisher, aside from being one of the greatest chess players ever, is a certifiable nutcase and anything he says regarding anything other than chess must be taken only as the ramblings of a delusional paranoid pyschopath and sociopath.
