Bad things happen to good people also. That is called life.
Life is not fair.
Now then, we can live a grievous life full of self will, lack of compassion, and intent to harm. This indeed speeds up the process for harm and bad things to come our way. (Broken marriages, unhappiness, trouble with the law, addictions, etc.)
We reap what we sow in this aspect.

If that didn't happen there wouldn't be Karma, the ones that called themselves mighty Gods, and all the other happy things in life. The baddies would just ruin it all for the little people. I wonder when karma will hit President Bush.

Bad people just seem to hang with the wrong people, therefore leading to other bad things. It is like it is in there blood or destined to be bad.
