Last night I felt a hard/bubbly spot on the upper inside part on the right side of my gums. After brushing my teeth before going to bed I felt it with my toungue and it went to being soft and red? I'm not sure what it is and I'm a little scared. It looks irritated but im not sure what may have caused the problem..

Today It's still red and I feel a throbbing in that spot with no pain. What could this be?? Should I go see a DR?

Don't be scared...make an appointment with your dentist.

abcess or a sign of infection. Go to the dentist...they'll give you some medicine for it, once they determine what it is.

I'm no specialist but infections usually happen when we don't floss and food remains build up under the gum or near a tooth..that irritates the gum, causes it to swell, be red and painful..sometimes with some bleeding. It's always good to have these small infections treated early, so that your gum can get healthy soon:)
