Its boxes of dirt that come from specific US states. statedirt.com I currently charge 9.99 + shipping for one prepared box. Is this too high, too low? I've had at least one buyer at this level thus far.

Thanks!
Clint

Also, FYI for anyone.

Why: It's a souveneer really. I think it would actually do good if it was sold in a physical store, not the internet.

And it's not my goal to make tons of money on this. It's more of an experiment.

I've tried ebay, they pulled my auction.

I'm afraid that I don't quite understand your target market, and I really don't understand why anyone would want your product.

That being said, $10 is about the level for a base priced luxury (non-essential) item. I don't know how much trouble you went to to get the dirt, package it, and mail it. You may have to raise the price just to make a profit.

Good luck!

You have to price it in comparison with alternative solutions or you can test different price levels to see when you profit margins will get highest. if you have 100 clients at 10, you make 1000 ; but if you have 50 clients at 40 you make 2000 .. it all depends how price sensitive are your clients and the two ways to figure it out is to compare with alternative providers or to test it yourself.

There are people who eat dirt. Put your product on E-Bay and see what the market is.

I can't imagine you'll get many more customers. I doubt anyone would pay anymore.
