heterosexuals, per capita, engage in public sexual expression/behaviour more than gays do? The vast majority of mile-high club members are staright. Straights have sex in theatres, more often, engage in dogging more often, etc. This is again, I believe per capita.....Why does the English speaking world fing it necessary to inculcate its society with more stigma/intolerance against the lgbt popultaion?

I really do not care to know about what or what does not want to make you puke, Pief......I asked a thoughtful question. I expect a thoughtful answer - not a simple, juvenile, visceral reaction.....

S, I may have just as easily written "American society." What exactly about my question does not make sense? You are perhaps being too picky of a reader. If you have a problem with my "wording," then suggest a way to improve upon it. Please elaborate!

I don't understand it either. I don't imagine heterosexual couples getting it on when I see them; why would I imagine homosexuals doing the deed just b/c I see them?

Heck, I see heterosexuals condemn acts as homosexual when it's as simple as a platonic kiss or people sitting close together, just b/c two people of the same perceived gender are involved.

There's no good reason for it, and you're not likely to find a well-reasoned answer for this behavior. People are just plain intolerant of those who choose to lead a different lifestyle than their own, so if two men are so much as holding hands in public, there will be someone who will lead an outcry. And yes, I say two men, because lesbian women do seem to be somewhat more accepted (at least, two women could hold hands in public or walk with their arms wrapped around one another and it might be accepted as simply a friendly gesture).

It is newer to many peoples' eyes. It is talked about more because it has such a stigma attached to it (against many religions).

It's not taht the English speaking world finds it necessary to do... in fact, I have seen just as intolerant groups (granted, in different ways) in many other groups.

For your information; I don't want to see anyone doing anything when I am trying to relax.

Straighten out your facts, edit your question (so it makes sense) and try again.

I would hope that decent people would "sexually express themselves" in the privacy of their own home, not in a public restroom or other public area.
I don't want to hear, see or in any way be near those who get a thrill out of having sex in a public place.

Personally, I don't want to see ANYONE getting that physical in a public place and I sure don't want me children to see it!

I find both heterosexual and homosexual affection in public to be embarrassing as most people do.
Having said that, societys job is to promote healthy interpersonal relationships that promote childbearing. If there are no children society dies.
So even though society tolerates homosexuality, it does not encourage it.

Heterosexual behavior is natural, that's why. All dirty homos need to be burnt like the flamers they are.
