You've got one sitting right here in Red Lick, Texas! I agree, It seems like it's getting harder and harder to find any diehard dirt track racing fans anymore. Living right outside of Texarkana is great, We've got a decent 3/8's mile track right outside of town here called HWY 67 Texarkana Speedway, and then we have a great selection of dirt tracks within an hour drive or so. Arklatex Speedway is the best, down south of here in Vivian, Louisiana. There are a couple other good tracks close like in Nashville and Benton, AR.. Paris, TX.. and Shreveport, LA.
I'd spend more money on a great dirt track event anyday before a NASCAR race.
I'm going to the 08' Chili Bowl in Tulsa, OK in January.... 2 day event, over 200 Sprints Cars.. I can't wait!!!
We need more people supporting our grass-roots of racing. Go out and support your local dirt track on the weekends, and watch some of the BEST RACING in your life. If you get a chance, go see the WoO series.. or any Sprint Car, SUPR Late Model, or IMCA Modified (E-MOD) series for good dirt action.

I am. My dad's boss owns a dirt stock car so he works on the pitcrew every Saturday. I go and watch sometimes but I usually have to work. It's fun. I like the Nextel cup races better though.
