I get a good laugh, but then there are folks who really reach out for some advise, and get some good answers on here.

My views on a certain topic (Immigration) changed drastically. I feel as if I learned more then I needed to. It even made me research greatly into this issue. I'm also beginning to understand that most people don't understand this issue very well and are ignorant. I really want to help them see the issue in my eyes but some are not willing to do so. I don't force anything on anybody, I only put my answers out and with a simple explanation. Yet some don't care and come off as really negative on poor people who were forced out of their countries to look for opportunities in a new country. That's all.

Communications is wonderful, indeed... especially since everyone is entitled to MY opinion! HAHAHA!
I view it as a means of explaining the Christian viewpoint to people, and I am very careful not to be rude or insulting. Now, telling the TRUTH of the matter might upset some people, but I never insult them just because they have a viewpoint different then mine. But I will always be "true to the TRUTH" which (unfortunately) has caused me to be reported to Y-Answers a few times... JUST because someone disagrees with me is NO reason for REPORTING!
Anyway... I also like to interject some humor now and then, if for no other reason than I think it's funny! HAHA!
Have a blessed day!

I wouldn't be here if I didn't get something from it. It has opened my eyes a LOT to the beliefs and viewpoints of others. The laughs are always great, as well. I think it has been important to those who have been closed off to the outside world and what people other than their fellow believers think and believe.

As long as I am treated w/ respect I think it is a great way to see the views of many different people. I have learned a lot about atheists that I was ignorant about before. Learned a lot about muslims too. It has been eye opening.

It really isn't The same you and the same"fellow humans." It's virtual anonymous you and virtual anonymous "fellow humans." When we are anonymous and and disconnected as we are now, Most of us behave differently. Better, worse, More open, oppposit of true self etc. This isn't really a true representation of people. You could be My Mormon Single mom Neighbor for all I know in 'the real world.'

This forum has given me a chance to also associate with how others in the world "think" prior to publishing books I have written. After 7 years writing, I took the year to "relax" from it and do my own study upon all I have written and "how" and "who" to best publish the books, as I have many publishers wanting them.....

Yes, I have been amazed at how so many are so delusional as a result of their religious beliefs. Some are really beyond delusional. To say that you would kill your child if God demanded it is just too much. Other examples in here, just too numerous to list. Hard for me to imagine.

it has brought me many friends when I had none
it has taught me to see the person and not the label... that there are good and bad in all walks of life
that laughter is the best medicine , it is spiritual and belongs here just as much as the serious questions
