Dude, it's people like her (and there are a lot of them) that cause a huge majority of people to dislike Christians. Only God judges (as you already know). I agree with you (and I am a Christian) that only God knows if you are good, or bad. He knows your heart.
As far as taking the Lord's name in vain, this is a debatable subject. I have read where if a person is in court, do not swear to God, or anything else, that their word is good enough (I believe this was from Jesus). When the Ten Commandments were issued to Moses, the Commandment reads, "Do not take the Lord's name in vain". Does this mean don't say "OMG," or does it mean do not swear before people that you will tell the truth, "SO HELP ME GOD?" that could be interpreted as taking the Lord's name in vain. Some believe that if you say God, or Jesus, in some kind of statement, that is taking the Lord's name in vain. They could be right, but nobody, no matter what they think, is 100% correct. We all have our own beliefs, some are right on the money, some aren't.
Back to your original statement, yes, she was over-the-top rude, and she speaks for herself, not all Christians.
She should probably touch up on her manners, as well as her Bible.

Well, presentation is everything. I don't know how to answer unless I saw the whole convo. As for salvation and forgiveness the whole faith and belief of Christians is that we are all sinnful, and that separates us from God, and that there is a mediator for that. Jesus the Christ was sent to earth so that our sins could be paid for. I'd really like to talk with you a bit more. If you'd like you can message me.
;D I use it all the time, but I use it for "oh my goodness" so...

I agree, thats a pretty rude attitude.
However I have seen that muslims here on YA often say "Islam is the best & most perfect religion"
Personally I find that a pretty arrogant statement because it implies that the other's religion is not. In fact if you think about it, its not much different from what your christian girl said.

Great News for you...this person is incorrect. Are you aware that hell simply mean "common grave of mankind" not a place of fire and torment.
Notice the definition:
Definition: The word “hell” is found in many Bible translations. In the same verses other translations read “the grave,” “the world of the dead,” and so forth. Other Bibles simply transliterate the original-language words that are sometimes rendered “hell”; that is, they express them with the letters of our alphabet but leave the words untranslated. What are those words? The Hebrew she’ohl′ and its Greek equivalent hai′des, which refer, not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek ge′en·na, which is used as a symbol of eternal destruction. However, both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).
Does the Bible indicate whether the dead experience pain?
Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.)
Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts* do perish.”
Does the Bible indicate that the soul survives the death of the body?
Ezek. 18:4: “The soul* that is sinning—it itself will die.”
So “The concept of ‘soul,’ meaning a purely spiritual, immaterial reality, separate from the ‘body,’ . . . does not exist in the Bible.
Is there eternal punishment for the wicked?
Matt. 25:46, KJ: “These shall go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal.”
2 Thess. 1:9, RS: “They shall suffer the punishment of eternal destruction* and exclusion from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.”
Is eternal torment of the wicked compatible with God’s personality?
Jer. 7:31: “They [apostate Judeans] have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart.”
(If it never came into God’s heart, surely he does not have and use such a thing on a larger scale.)
Illustration: What would you think of a parent who held his child’s hand over a fire to punish the child for wrongdoing? “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) Would he do what no right-minded human parent would do? Certainly not!
So there are two outcomes according to the bible. Everlasting destruction or Everlasting Life. The fire denotes total destruction and is symbolic not to be taken literally as false religions teach.
The Bible teaching on the true condition of the dead relieves one’s mind of much unnecessary fear and worry regarding those who have died. To know that such ones are not suffering helps us to appreciate far more God’s love, and his justice. Yet, one may still wonder, If a man dies and simply goes to the grave, what hope is there for the dead? The Bible reveals that there is a wonderful hope, the hope of living again.
During his earthly ministry Jesus Christ showed his power over death, actually bringing dead persons back to human life. (Luke 7:11-16; John 11:39-44) He thus provided a preview of what he will do on a grand scale in God’s new system of things. The heartwarming prospect is that then hell, mankind’s common grave, will be emptied of its unconscious dead. (Revelation 20:13) Some receive a resurrection to heavenly glory as spirit creatures, even as did Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:5) However, the vast majority of mankind will be brought back to enjoy life on a restored earthly paradise.—Acts 24:15; Luke 23:43.
In God’s new system the resurrected dead, if they carry out God’s righteous laws, will never need to die again. (Isaiah 25:8) Certainly this grand provision for blessing mankind is reason for us to take in more knowledge of God and his Son, Jesus Christ. Doing so can lead to our eternal life and blessing.
So you can let that person know, that we are all going to hell. Why? Because we all grow old and die and will experience the common grave at some point in our life until God's Kingdom remove death forever. We do however, have the hope of the resurrection.

Its not so much rude as crass, self-righteous and bigoted.
If there is a God and a Hell it would be up to God to decide who would go there, not a human. Human's don't know & its the height of unhumanity & spiritual pride to tell someone they are going to hell.
Besides which in my opinion belief in Hell is incompatible with Christianity. Christianity is a religion of love and compassion & anyone who possesses these qualities should surely realise that it is impossible for God to be less loving and compassionate than humanity and thus condemn people to Hell for eternity.
THere is VERY LITTLE reference to Hell in the New Testament... THe focus on it is to do with something entirely else... ie the terrorising of people in to following a particular brand of the Church...

There are definitely better ways. She was rude. I have met Christians that do a pretty good job of making you WANT Jesus, but that's not a good way.

She was rude in the manner that she was:
lacking refinement or delicacy: IGNORANT, UNLEARNED : INELEGANT, UNCOUTH: offensive in manner or action : DISCOURTEOUS: UNCIVILIZED.
Unfortunately her intention and her "heart" was good, but as the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions! There are better, more "delicate" ways of witnessing to the Truth, and "attacking" someone is not one of them.
Christians like her are what we refer to as "babes in Christ." They have not yet matured in their faiths AND their "manners." They can even get under the skins of other Christians... believe ME!!! While not dismissing her rudeness, I can understand it. It stemmed from the enthusiasm of her faith. Talk about forgiveness, YOU are the one who is going to have to forgive her... and maybe someday she will awaken to how negative her behavior was.
Please don't interpret what she was saying as her damning you to hell, that is not her, nor God's message at all. You are NOT damned to hell unless you don't want to go to heaven. Like the one answerer said, "is it rude to warn you that a hurricane is coming so you can prepare?" This is what her message, as crudely given, was. The Truth of God's message is that He loves you and wants you to be with Him forever. He has told us the means by which you "accept" His invitation. I'm sure you've heard it before, and you heard it from her. In her eyes, she views you as going to hell because you have not accepted Christ as your Savior. She cares about you... even if she doesn't know you very well, she "cares" about you, and does not want to see you "harm" yourself by not accepting Christ. In her enthusiasm, she has chosen the wrong words, and the wrong time, but, as I said in the beginning, she meant well, and she only wants the best for you.
This is where she was "coming from" when she spoke you to so ineloquently. I'm sure God was not happy with the "means" by which she spoke, and I hope someday, she will learn better ways, as you said yourself, there are better ways! Just think of her as a young puppy dog who is not trained yet. She runs all over the place, running into things and people, flopping over her own feet, and maybe even doing a pee-pee where she ought not! But she's a puppy, and her mother, and her "trainer/owner" will eventually get her puppy clumsiness out of her, and she could become an elegant show-dog, or a helpful "service" dog, in her adult years.
I hope this has help explain her, and to "apologize" for her... puppiness... in her Christian faith and ways.
Have a blessed day!

ROFL I suppose she did not read that passage where it said she has neither the right to pass judgement against someone nor does she have the right to put herself above God. Wow. She might need to read the bible before she determines who and who is not saved. Sorry man. We're not all like that.

It's rude. I wouldn't have given her my e-mail if I were you. She's just going to keep telling you all the reasons you deserve to be tortured for all of eternity in a fiery pit for not believing in HER religion.
