I've been there buddy! First, being more active will help a great deal. Because it is extremely easy to become depressed on such a shift stay physically active on a regular basis when you are not working to boost endorpins and such (I promise you will feel 10x better). Second, just because you work 3rd shift is not an excuse to do nothing productive. Accomplishing goals and tasks on your off time will make you feel alot better both during your shift and after, having something to look forward to makes all the difference in the world. Last but certainly not least, while off spend whatever time you can with your loved ones, because thats what really matters in the end right? I'm assuming there are reasons why you chose to pick up this shift and when something is difficult quitting or switching is always easy but not always best. See if you can't work around the challenges. You must absolutely do things different (actually start doing things).

you have to many projects started and to many things do do. working the third shift only pays good money but is only good money because no one works the shift: because it is not good for your body or mind. you need to sleep during the night. you should try to sell the cars so they are not another project to do. you should finish your porch first and then do the driveway. i was working 75 hrs a week but was not tired physically but mentally i was beat to shreads. try to find a job that pays close to what you are making now and work a different shift. its hard to raise kids on the third shift anyways which is also probaby why you are really down. i would suggest maybe starting to work out and do a few reps with some free weights. after a while you will start to gain the drive to get back to work and get things done. maybe look for a way to work from home. basically you are working at a bad time and need to work earlier. you need to sleep during the proper times. go out side and get some sun during the day and sleep at night.

Lack of sleep will make you nuts. Few people can work the 3rd shift because they never get enough deep sleep.
Quit 3rd shift or try making your sleeping room as dark as possile with black grabage bags on the windows, blankets over doorways, and a face mask.
You have to reach deep sleep to rest and your body to heal it;s self.

you sound like you are suffering from sleep defromation.don't think that is spelled quite right.it causes all kind of problems.go to a dr. and get some help before things get worse.i know a person who experienced a lack of sleep for two years which possibly lead to their high blood pressure diabeties, and clinical depression.

start a to do list.
set your self a goal of having x done by x date. and finish it.
don't start any new projects.
use puncuation to seperate your thoughts too. you're lil description was difficult to divide up.
sell the cars that you didn't finish.
if you are depressed go to a doctor for medicine to help you slow and focus and relax.
