I first heard of PEI from the movie Anne of Green Gables. When I was 18 (10 yrs ago) my family and I visited this lovely island. I remember that it was very clean, and it seemed that every house, yard, field, etc. was exceptionally cared for. I remember at the time that no cans (soda) were allowed in stores, so all of the drinks were still sold in glass bottles; coke in a glass bottle always tastes better. The countryside was beautiful; Charlottetown was charming. PEI was a great place to visit!

Lobster!
I guess I learned about it in school, but I was only 6 or 7 the first time I went.

The beach... I liked Stanhope resort also. I liked being beside my Red head girlfriend call Ann.. I couldn't get her to wear pigtails and if I called her Anne of green gables she hit me.

well, i've visited it this summer and we drove there from mtl. obviously we've heard of it cuz its in our country lol. anyways, i really liked the beaches. where we were it was really empty and it was like we had our own private beach. we could walk for miles on either side and it was great. also, the water was pretty warm.
