Which types of foods sell most sucessfully at events?

Question

For my high school club, I am planning to sell food at a school event for charity. My friends and i are questioning which foods(from experience) have been most successful for profits?
Something easily portable and doesn't require too much of a hassle.

subs...sell in advance and wrap them up in plastic wrap-distribute at lunchtime...

There have been a few good answers already, but my two favorite things to sell for profit are pizza slices and hot pretzels. Both very easy to transport and make (in fact, the pizza would be supplied by a local joint so no real effort there!). Hot Pretzels are great, very cheap to produce, hold well, and can be salted or unsalted, then topped off with some mustard, melted cheese, marinara sauce, etc for additional $$.

Nachos (with chili and or cheese, jalapenos), pickles, pickles, hot dogs, sausage links, pizza, candy, chips, and maybe smoked turkey legs. All of the above would work at a game or school function.
You could also do a bake sale, or the fundraiser where you can sell lollie pops.

Popcorn ( you can get popcorn mav=chines from the people who sell the pop corn) Hot dogs, pizza slices, Shaved Ice,Coffee and Donuts call the Crispy Creme People they are very helpful with fundraisers. Find out who supplies coffee to local offices they can set you p with urns cups and all that goes with it,be careful and make sure you're insured

Cotton Candy machines have always been a big hit! Cakes,have everyone bake a cake or really cool cookies,maybe with your school colors,Rice crispy treats,You might also contact your local pizza place and see if they want to donate pizza for your fund raiser and sell it for a dollar a slice...good luck!

Here is a short list of items that used to sell pretty well for our high school.

Whole dill pickles
Eggrolls and or chow mein from local place already cooked
hotdogs
pizza

Finger foods will sell very well. Hotdogs and chips, nachos, polish sausages, home made brownies cut into squares. I hope that these ideas help.

Corn on Cob, Patotes fried in swirles, and hot dogs on stick (Corn dogs) also drinks fruity one.. Like V-8 with leomons,and graitfuit,oranges.Big picthers

Hot Dogs. They're usually super cheap and you can make a bundle by charging $1/dog!
