Hinduism revers cows. But they don't believe in Hell, they believe in reincarnation. So I think you got something mixed up somewhere.

Hindus do not eat beef or any cow, as cows are sacred to them..
Not sure about any religions that if you eat steak you go to hell though.

I feel stupid - steak is beef right - from a cow?
Hindus believe the cow is sacred and do not eat them. Lots of Hindus in India. Lots of cows too.... now that i think about it.

Certainly not Christianity. In Hinduism, the cow is sacred, which would lead to a prohibition on eating beef. However, there is no hell in Hinduism. If you live a lousy life, you simply don't fare as well in your next incarnation.
