so there once was a lamp in my kitchen
and its name was Jake
and my friend just loved Jake
she loved him so much she broke him
and he couldn't stand on his own
Jake is no handy capt, and retarded.
there was once a pole out side my house
and it had no name
my friend saw it, and it was love at first sight
she kissed the pole, and Jake saw.
he then unplugged his cord. Jake now is a vegetable
One day, i bought a lamp for my room.
and this lamp was called Mat.
Mat was a good little pool, and loved scarfs.
he tried getting it on with my vacuum.
i caught them with their cords entwined.
and that is when i found out my Mat was gay
and i can't seem to turn him on anymore, i guess
i'm just not man enough for him... my heart is now broken
that is when i turned back to Jake, my first love.
i can not seem to turn him on either.
i think he's gay.
don't get involved with objects, they will turn on you.
turn on, or off, it doesn't matter. they broke my heart
and they don't talk to me anymore.
so now, i'm going to see if that mirror in my sisters room
could become my new lover, we shall see.

yes, but its usually called obsession because love is based on the idea that you can get something back as a direct result from another living creature's emotion. It doesnt have to be love your getting back for it the be love for you.
With an object it is an obsession because you have to create personality, output, interaction and purpose to everything about the object to sustain the mask of "love". If the object makes noises or has some sort of thing it does a obsessive person turns it into a "quirk" in their mind like its part of the object's persona. Technically you can have affection for something to the point where it seems like love and you spend as much time talking about, thinking about, being around as a person or even more so, but it will never be the same as a person because you are attributing whatever you want to that objects personality. It doesnt create the same tests and troubles as actual love. Its fake. YOu choose for it to work or not, to be conditional or unconditional. With people, you don't choose who you love, but you choose to act on it. Objects, you choose both unless your stone cold nuts.

It's not exactly... human, no. It depends you're meaning of love. That thing can't show affection toward you, so why would you love it? You can't exactly reproduce with it. It seems a might strange if you ask me. I can't exactly understand why you would want this kind of relationship. Are you quite alright in the head?

That's a different kind of love...but yea, you can love material possesions more than people if you don't really have very deep feelings for any of the people in your life.

Some people get so into material possessions that they forget how to feel that sort of emotion for other people.
