What is a ferrell cat? What is the difference between ferrell cat and any other cat?

I can't find anything that tells me exactly what a ferrell cat is. I believe I saw a picture of one and it looked just like a Tabby. Can someone answer these questions for me? Thanks

A feral cat can even look like a pure breed cat.

Often these cats cannot be domesticated or at least not very successfully unless kittens are taken in at a very young age.

I think you mean "feral." A feral cat is a domestic cat that lives outside with no human ownership or companionship or routine contact with humans. Basically it's a domestic cat that has reverted to the "wild" even though the "wild" is most likely a suburb or city. A feral cat colony is one that is composed of a group of domestic cats that have come together as a group and reside together in the wild.

'Feral'. It means wild. Feral describes a domesticated animal (cat, dog, pig, etc...) that lives in the wild. If a cat runs away and has a litter of kittens, for instance, the kittens may grow up to be feral.

A feral is a cat born wild, to a wild mother or a stray mother.

A stray is a cat who was owned by humans but who was abandoned, was lost or somehow got seperated from humans and is now living on their own.

Strays can adapt back into living with humans, but ferals haven't had that exposure and are usually VERY frightened of humans, even doing eye contact will make them run. It takes a long time to gain their confidence and trust.
