Perfect is merely a qualifier we apply to things we view as all good. Good is merely a qualifier of things we like. Perfect is merely then an expression of someing being all things we like. Life is not perfect, nor is it imperfect. Life is. It could never be other than it is, because it's essence is existence.

There is nothing that is perfect on this earth. We all have room for improvement and that is what makes life so interesting. If one ever becomes complacent and believes there is nothing left to strive for, they will become stagnant.
