What you people dont get is that these folks over there hate christians. The Koreans were not only there to help out.. they were trying to convert people to Christianity. The Jews are not there trying to spreag their faith, so why do Christians go around trying to convert everyone. Going their was dumb, and they have paid a dear price.

If you know anything at all why they were there you would know that they were on a humanitarian mission. They were living their faith by doing good works. While trying to make fools of Christians you show your own ignorance.

If you believe in life after death, then this life is only a tiny fraction of one'es existence. So if the christian gospel brings a secure eternity to the believer, and rejection of it makes it very hard (possibly impossible for most) for a God who has to be just to give people a place in His heaven ... then rejection of the gospel is the most awful folly.
Of course the Taliban have their ideas of what they believe is true. But people can be very convinced and yet deceived. Its the characteristic of their harsh variety of Islam that they actively prevent other beliefs being taught and accepted - real intolerance which all decent-minded people should despise.

Do you say the same thing when a news reporter is captured? Did you know that many of these missionaries are involved in relief activities in churches and hospitals?

Yes, I've been praying they'd be freed for weeks, thank God it's happening. We were warned 2000 years ago that the world wouldn't be happy with us, but thanks for re-confirming Jesus's prophecy.
