Since the democrats are so against "global warming" why are they the ones that drive big suv's and have their private jets that take them everywhere, not saying everybody elsoe doesnt but, wouldnt they be the ones to not use those resources instead of wanting to dictate how everyone else lives their lives? Hmm reminds me of communism. Hypocrites or no?

It is very important that Democratic politicians look good and maintain an aloof air while in public.
The policies and connections that they control are not for the common man but for those who will benefit from the labors of the them.
So yes they should have their luxuries while toiling for the good of us. We should not be questioning their excess because it is for our own good.

Oh come on you know its not just the democrats its all of the rich that want to drive there SUV no matter if there republican or democrats . When are all you people going to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that there in cahoots with each other just to keep us all confused and separated from each other .Government is government rich is rich poor is poor . Not all government people are like that.
But for those who are, here's a few possibilities of what's going on in their heads:
-buying a new car is too expensive
-just one SUV can't be that bad (even though it's setting a bad example)
-SUV s are comfortable

I'm "against global warming". I bike to work, drive a Prius, and my home uses less than one-third the average US household energy.
You shouldn't stereotype an entire group based on the actions of a few individuals.

Global warming (man-caused GW) is clearly political. 100 senators voted against Kyoto (or gave it a thumbs down vote) and yet many democrats pretend they were for it. Hypocracy is almost part of being a politician, I think.

Because the democrats are hypocites and they do not really believe man made global warming is real. They want to try to control our lives and tell us what to do, while they get to do whatever they want. Communism is one good word for them, so is socialists.

People should be inspired by the people who volunteer in environmental project, the people who keep our streets clean but not from politics...

Man made global warming has moved into the political limelight, such that it is unsafe politically, if you are skeptical about human influenced climatic change. Do you really think Bush believes that they hijacked a great religion?
