im 34 and in the past year iv had 3 yeast infectoins. is it my age or is this normal? when i hit my 20s i got 1 once a year,but its gotten worse. any ideas on how to get rid of it besides creams and medicated douches? and no im not sexually active.

Yogurt with active cultures helps. Have you tried to figure out the source of the prob? Like, do you take a bunch of bubble baths or use a certain kind of soap? Are you on antibiotics? All of these things can cause them. If you can't get an answer that helps you need to ask your gyno!! Until then, yogurt.

Hi did u know cranberry juice is very good for keeping bugs at bay in the urinary tract.Do u have lots of yeast based foods and fermented foods and sugar?This can contribute to the problem .Garlic is also a good anti -fungal.

Repeated infections could be a sign of a deeper problem. Talk to your doctor/obgyn to see if additional tests can be run.

You can douche with plain yogurt.
What gives it to you is lack of bacteria . Taking medication like Penicillin can give you one.

Its not normal to have one so often , at least for me I have only had one that was due to antibiotics. If it does seem to be getting worse you need to make an appointment with your gynecologist.

There is stuff called Rephresh vaginal gel it helps keep your vagina pH balanced at a healthy level. It will helps prevent infections. Great stuff!!

Maybe your laundry soap or bath soap is causing them...things "downtown" are sensitive you know.

it is diet and enviroment, clothing and stress

just take more water
