I keep myself motivated by music, and other various things...I love music that gets me charged up for a good workout..Also, I used to visualize what my ideal figure would look like if I had lost weight...and what would ya know...That was six years ago, and I'm now at my target weight! Motivation is definitely the KEY to losing weight, and sticking with a healthy lifestyle, and exercise plan...You know what they say..."NO PAIN, NO GAIN!"...I know it's hard to believe, but if you CAN visualize it...You CAN achieve your goals...Just keep a positive mindset, and don't let others bring ya down...I've beat the odds before, and I firmly believe that anybody can do it, if they really give it their all, and have PATIENCE!
Also, I suscribe to Fitness Magazine...Love that mag! Support too is a great motivator...Having other people that are doing the same as you, that share your goal...is another thing that keeps ya going!

I listen to music every now and then. There are also televisions where I work out. I've always been a big advocate to limit distractons as much as possible. That way, I can concentrate on my form and intensity a lot more. I never read...but I do listen to music or listen to the programs on TV. I actually find that when I tune them out I get a better workout. lol.

I put a magazine or a towel in front of the time so I don't know how long I have been working out. I just keep in mind the outcome of the exercise!

I have a certain playlist on my iPod that makes me rock out and think... My specific music is crazy angry breakup music!
